Iron Hands (テツノカイナ, Tetsunokaina?) (EYE-ern HANDS[1]) is a Fighting/Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.
Biology[]
Physiology[]
Iron Hands is a Future Paradox Pokémon counterpart of Hariyama. It is a very large, plump-bodied, mechanical humanoid Pokémon that resembles a robotic sumo wrestler. It has a dark patch on its face that displays pixilated yellow eyes, which simulate blinking, and expressions of anger or happiness. Its dome-like head has short tube like formations on each side that resemble ears, and it has a pointed dark blue cap at the top that fold over its eye-screen. Iron Hands can rotate its dome-shaped head left and right, smoothly and swiftly. Its bulky upper body is comprised of a light-grey metal. It possesses a set of particularly large glowing yellow mechanical hands that levitate independent of its body via electromagnetic power (due to its Electric-typing). Circular patches on its hands and torso appear to connect the hands. The glowing, yellow, crystaline matter on its body is visble on the underside of its hands, on its frilled hips, and on round patches on its torso, and underneath its hands. Its legs are chunky, large, deep-blue spheres that connect to small, black feet. A patch of black metal comprises its very core as a tertiary color, on its stomach and inner thighs.
Behavior[]
Iron Hands is purportedly a cyborg according to a magazine; it was initially an athlete (of unknown species) who was wounded to the point of dying, until its body was reconstructed using bionic parts, taking a form similar to Hariyama. In Area Zero, Iron hands is an aggressive Pokémon that will roar and begin to chase its quarry via fast levitation once sighted. Like all Future Paradox Pokémon, it enters a "sleep mode" in which its glowing yellow patches go dark, and it pulls its levitating hands against its body in a stiff outward position (connecting the glowing dots on its chest and the back-parts of the hands). It walks slowly on its small feet.
Natural abilities[]
With its Quark Drive ability, like all Future Paradox Pokémon, Iron Hands can increase its Speed and highest stat when Electric Terrain is active, or if holding a Booster Energy. Iron Hands' huge fists can move on their own, and are capable of throwing large, fast-moving vehicles with no effort. Iron Hands can also move faster by levitating, without moving its small feet.
Evolution[]
Iron Hands does not evolve.
