Intimidate (Japanese: いかく, Hepburn: Ikaku) is an ability that, upon entering the battle, lowers the opponent's Attack stat by one stage. If the user is in the lead spot of your party, then the rate of encountering wild Pokémon whose level is at least 5 levels less than that of the user is cut in half.
