Impidimp (Japanese: ベロバー, Hepburn: Berobaa) is a Dark/Fairy-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation VIII.
Biology
Physiology
Impidimp is a small, pink, bipedal Pokémon that can only be male. Its large head has two pointed ears, a black, bat-like wing on the back, and black facial markings. It also has large eyes with small pupils and a long, pointed nose with a single nostril. However, its most distinctive feature is its mouth, which always has a black tongue and two fangs sticking out. Compared to the rest of its body, its limbs are gangly and strange- its hands have three digits and its feet lack visible toes. It also has no tail, unlike some other Pokémon.
Behavior
Mischievous creatures, Impidimp sneak into households to steal from humans. Similarly to Shuppet, they feed off of frustration and negative energy, sucking it through its nose.
Natural Abilities
They can absorb humans and Pokemon's negativity as a means to recharge themselves.
Evolution
Impidimp evolves into Morgrem beginning at level 32. Morgrem will then evolve into Grimmsnarl ten levels later, at level 42.

Trivia
- Impidimp's line is the only Dark and Fairy-type Pokémon to be exclusively male.
- Its line is also the first male-only Pokémon introduced since Generation V.
- The devil icons seen in Generation II, Generation III, and Stadium 2 bear some resemblance to Impidimp.
- Impidimp and Nuzleaf share the same species: both are called the Wily Pokémon.
- Impidimp and Arrokuda were shown off in some pre-release footage but never acknowledged.
Origin
Impidimp is based on an imp, possibly the Lincoln Imp in particular. It may also take inspiration from other types of fairy-like creatures in folklore such as goblins or gremlins. Its small wings on the back of its head could be a reference to imps being known as small devils.
Etymology
Impidimp is derived from imp, impediment, and impudent. It may also come from simper, which means to smile, and dimpsey, a term used to refer to the time of day near dusk, hence its Dark-typing.
Berobā may be a combination of ベロ bero (tongue) and ベロベロバァ beroberoba (peekaboo).
