As Yungoos[]
Ilima, his Rattata and Yungoos went to meet up with Hau and his Popplio near the Trainer's School on Melemele Island.[1][2] Ilima's Yungoos and Rattata participated in the battle against the mysterious creatures, named Ultra Beasts, that Guzma sent to attack at Po Town. It fought a large-mouthed Ultra Beast, but was wounded in the battle.[3]
As Gumshoos[]
Ilima and Gumshoos spent time on Exeggutor Island for training, and battled against Acerola and Palossand.[4] With the arrival of the four Guardian Deities on Poni Island, Ilima and Mina went out of the aircraft and started to battle the Ultra Beasts. They confronted Lighing, and had their Gumshoos use Breakneck Blitz and Ribombee use Sparkle Tackle Z-Moves. The Z-Moves defeated Lighting.[5]
