Effect
In Battle
Ice Shard does damage. Due to having a positive priority, Ice Shard will always go before moves that are not of this priority type. In a Double Battle, Ice Shard can target any Pokémon around the user. In a Triple Battle, Ice Shard can only target a Pokémon that's adjacent to the user.
In the Mystery Dungeon series, the move's range extends two steps in front of the user.
