As Tynamo[]
Hugh, as gifts from an old man, obtained Tynamo, Pidove and Purrloin, and decided to give the latter to his sister as a present.[1]
As Eelektross[]

When Hugh woke up in the Pokémon School from coma, after the attack on Castelia City, he encountered Rood. Blinded by his rage for Team Plasma, he sent Eelektross, who used Crush Claw on Rood. After a brief talk, Hugh calmed down, and upon the ambush from the black Team Plasma, he used Vibrava and Eelektross to fight them.[2] Hugh's Eelektross was used to fight Team Plasma grunts at Aspertia City's Pokémon School. Eelektross blocked Team Plasma's Whirlipede's Steamroller, but got hurt by Team Plasma's Throh and Sawk, who used Low Kick and Circle Throw.[3]
Hugh used his Eelektross to battle Team Plasma grunts at the Plasma Frigate. As the flying ship was attacked by Kyurem, Snivy was injured in the attack. Hugh wanted Eelektross to take it and Whitley's Foongy to safety, but the Pokémon wanted to accompany Hugh to confront Team Plasma's forces, to which he complied their request.[4]
