Ho-Oh is a wild Fire/-type Pokémon who appeared a couple times in the anime.
Biography[]
Ho-Oh made its debut when Ash Ketchum first encountered it at the start of his Pokémon journey with his first Pokémon, Pikachu. Since then, Ho-Oh was seen again before Ash set off for the Hoenn region and again when Ash lost his battle against Pyramid King Brandon in the Battle Frontier due to him being possessed by the King of Pokélantis.
