Hitmonlee (サワムラー Sawamurā) is a Fighting-type Pokémon and is one of the evolved forms of Tyrogue. Tyrogue evolves into Hitmonlee starting at level 20 when its Attack is higher than its Defense.
Appearance
Hitmonlee is a Kicking Pokémon. It is brown in color with tape wrapped around its legs and forearms.
Special Abilities
Hitmonlee can have one of two abilities, Limber or Reckless. Limber is an ability that will prevent Hitmonlee from becoming paralyzed while Reckless increases the attack power of moves with recoil damage. Hitmonlee is the only Pokémon that can learn the move Mega Kick through level-up. As name implies, Hitmonlee is a very distinguished kicker.
In Game
It evolves from Tyrogue at level 20 only if its Attack stat is greater than its Defense stat. The easiest way for a trainer to obtain a Hitmonlee is to use the vitamin Protein to raise the Attack stat until it is greater than the Defense stat. Hitmonlee was first introduced in the Pokémon Red and Blue versions and is a Fighting type Pokémon.
Hitmonlee is Pokémon number 106 in the National Pokedex in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.
