Hex Maniac is a Trainer Class introduced in Generation III. They are depicted as young females dressed up as witches and holding Poké Balls. They specialize in using Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokémon.
They are the female version of the Psychic trainer class, replacing female psychics in earlier games.
In the X and Y chapter of Pokémon Adventures, there is a Hex Maniac named Valerie who appears in Lumiose City telling the player about her presence.

In Generation III, Hex Maniacs are girls wearing purple outfits resembling witches and hold crystal balls.
In Generation VI, Hex Maniacs are pale-skinned girls and a purple headband on their long black hair. Their clothing consists of a black cobweb dress, white tights and black Mary Jane shoes.
