Heart Scale is an item that the player can exchange to a Move Relearner to make the player's Pokémon remember their forgotten moves. In the Generation III and Generation IV games, there is a man in Pastoria City who helps the player's Pokémon remember moves in exchange for found Heart Scales. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the Move Tutor is found in Blackthorn City where the player must exchange Heart Scales there. Heart Scales can be found on wild Luvdisc, in the Sinnoh Underground, on the Stormy Beach Pokéwalker route, or at the Athlete Shop at the Pokéathlon Dome for 1,000 Athlete Points on Wednesdays and Sundays.
