Hapu is a Kahuna, who appears in Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. She is the Kahuna of Poni Island.
Appearance
Hapu is a young girl with grey eyes, black hair and grey gloves. She wears a khaki outfit, with purple kneecaps, black boots and a purple bonnet. Also, she has a purple scarf around her neck, and carries a purple bag around her waist.
Personality
Hapu appears to be generally easy-going but with a serious undertone. Despite looking like a child, she is very mature and has a strong sense of justice and hard work. She has good composure in otherwise stressful situations and can make decisions without any haste. Overall Hapu is very honest, dependable and nice.

Games
In Sun and Moon, Hapu is traveling through Alola to become stronger, she first appears on Akala Island, where was defending a Drifloon from two Team Skull Grunts, she is later seen at Ula'ula Island, where she gives the player character the Mudsdale Gallop. When Lusamine used Nebby to open several Ultra Wormholes around Alola, she said that has fought against an Ultra Beast (presumably being Guzzlord) that emerged from the wormhole that appeared on Poni Island alongside Tapu Fini. After Lillie and the player character arrives in Poni Island, Hapu take then to the Ruins of Hope, where she is chosen by Tapu Fini as the new Island Kahuna of Poni Island, after this, the newly appointed go to Vast Poni Canyon, where she challenges the player character for the Grand Trial, after being defeated, she gives the player character the Groundium Z and accompanies the player character and Lillie to the Altar of the Sunne/Moone.
In Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the only differences in her role from Sun and Moon are when Necrozma unleash several Ultra Beasts around Alola, where she is seen battling against a Xurkitree at the Ruins of Hope and her Grand Trial take place now at Exeggutor Island after Mina's trial.
