This Mudsdale is a Ground-type Pokémon owned by Hapu.
Biography[]
Mudsdale was used by Hapu to save Sun from being attacked by a group of Crabrawler and Crabominable.[1] It easily defeated the group of Crabrawler, before it was hit by Crabominable. To return the damage, Mudsdale used Counter in its eyes, followed by Mud-Slap. Despite being blinded, Crabominable managed to score a hit to Mudsdale, and severely injured it. In a final clash, Crabominable went to attack Mudsdale, but missed, much to Hapu's surprise. In fact, Sun had Machamp move the ship so Crabominable missed. Crabominable was quickly defeated by Mudsdale's Mega Kick.[2]
Mudsdale went with Hapu and Sun to the Vast Poni Canyon. When the Crabominable that Hapu defeated earlier wanted to join her, Hapu exclaimed that raising her team was demanding enough.[3] Hapu went on Mudsdale around the Vast Poni Canyon to reach the island's altar.[4] As the army of Ultra Beasts approached Poni Island, Hapu sent Mudsdale to fight them off.[5]
With the arrival of the four Guardian Deities on Poni Island, Lana and Hapu went out of the aircraft and started to battle the Ultra Beasts. They confronted a Blacephalon, and had their Araquanid use Hydro Vortex and Mudsdale use Tectonic Rage Z-Moves, which defeated Blacephalon.[6]
