Wimpod was a scavenger, that ate anything, even if it was rotten.[1]
As Golisopod[]
Guzma came with Golisopod to the Full Force Festival, ready to take on Sun as his next challenger.[2]
Golisopod threw Sun on the stage of battle, per Guzma's orders. After Masquerain's defeat, Guzma sent out Golisopod, who immediately used First Impression, then continued attacking it. Cent was thrown onto Sun, whose hand was broken by Golisopod. As Golisopod took down Cent, Cent became berserk, as its coin on its head became dirty. This was due to Golisopod's claws being filthy from the rotten stuff it ate, the behavior that continued after evolving. Cent started outraging on Golisopod and toppled it away, then exchanged blows with it. With Pay Day, Cent defeated Guzma's Golisopod.[1]
At Po Town, when Gladion thought Guzma was controlled by someone, the latter sent Golisopod to attack Gladion, declaring nobody was controlling him.[3] Golisopod watched as Guzma was grappled by the tentacled Ultra Beast, and taken away through the crack in the sky.[4]
