This Golduck is a wild Water-type Pokémon appearing in "Bye Bye Psyduck".

Biography

It was mistaken for Misty's Psyduck, as Misty believed it had evolved after seeing a Golduck emerge from the water where her Psyduck plunged into. After it is revealed that not only was this Pokémon not Misty's, but that her Psyduck didn't evolve, it is revealed that Golduck allowed Misty to think it belonged to her because it loved female attention, which made Misty comment that it was just a "Pokémon version of Brock". While under Misty's temporary ownership, it battled against Marina's Pokémon and defeated all of them, much to Misty's satisfaction, and defeated Team Rocket as well.
