This Beedrill is a Bug/Poison-type Pokémon owned by Goh.
Personality[]
At first, Beedrill was extremely hostile and aggressive, going as far as to attack its trainer. But gradually it accepts its trainer and gets better on getting along with other Pokémon at the Cerise Laboratory. It is also competitive, racing with Ash's Dragonite across the Desert Ruins.
Biography[]
Beedrill was encountered at Vermilion Forest. It was part of a swarm of Beedrill that attacked Goh when he caught Kakuna. When the others were trapped by Pikachu's Electroweb, Goh caught the lone Beedrill that wasn't hit, assuming it was the strongest. Beedrill and the rest of the Kanto Bug-type Pokémon Goh caught were brought back to the Cerise Laboratory where Professor Cerise kept them in storage for Goh.[1]
It was used to fly across the Desert Ruins. It later helped to battle against a giant Golurk, only to be defeated in one hit from Golurk's Signal Beam, though it managed to land a Twineedle on Golurk.[2]
Beedrill was used to locate Cubone's missing bone, asking a wild Bellsprout.[3]
It was the first to realize its food being stolen during the food shortage at Cerise Laboratory, and was extremely agitated about that. It joined alliance with the other Bug types under the lead of Goh's Scyther to fight against Goh's Darmanitan, Goh's Ekans, Goh's Stantler and Goh's Grimer. When the three Cascoon were almost flooded, it along with the other Pokémon tried to save them and witnessed their evolution into Dustox. It later enjoyed its food after the chaos was over.[4]
