Giselle watching the sunset

Giselle appeared before Ash Ketchum, Brock and Misty, making Brock and Ash blush at her appearance. Misty challenged her to a battle, as Giselle was arrogant and picked on her classmate named Joe. Although Misty lost, Ash challenged Giselle, using his Pikachu against her Cubone and won, using an unusual strategy. Though Team Rocket attempted to steal the Pokémon, Giselle ordered her classmates to battle, which got Team Rocket scared. Due to this experience, Giselle promised not to pick on Joe.
