This Nidoking is a Poison/Ground-type Pokémon owned by Giovanni.
Biography[]
Kanto[]
During his battle against Red, Giovanni sent out Nidoking, who caused and earthquake at the gym with Red and Poli inside, who managed to escape. When Giovanni saw him clinging onto the edge of the ground caused by his Rhydon's Fissure, his other Pokémon, including Nidoking were around him.[1]
During a flashback of Red's, Giovanni had his Nidoking use Fire Punch to free Red from his frozen stasis.[2]
Kanto II[]
Along with his Nidoqueen, Giovanni had them attack the bicycle gang that were tormenting Lostelle by having Nidoking use Rock Tomb.[3]
