The Gimmighoul Coin is a TM Material introduced in Generation IX.

Effect

Collecting 999 Gimmighoul Coins causes Gimmighoul to evolve into Gholdengo when leveling up. This consumes all of the 999 Gimmighoul Coins in the player's Bag. Gimmighoul Coins are classified as TM Materials, but despite this, they cannot be used in TM Machines to make TMs.

Gimmighoul Coins appear in an update of Pokémon GO on February 27, 2023, that allows the game to connect to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Gimmighoul Coins have the same effect as in the core series.
