This Alolan Geodude is a rock/electric-type Pokémon who appeared in Treasure Hunt, Akala Style!.
Biography
Ash encountered a Geodude when trying to search for treasure. After the Rotom Pokédex identified it, explaining it to be the Alolan variant of the normal Pokémon, Ash got excited to try to catch it. Pikachu used Electro Ball, but it didn't work because as Rotom Pokédex then restated, the Alolan variant is additionally an Electric-type. Pikachu then used Iron Tail against it and Ash threw a Poké Ball to catch it. It then used Thunder Punch to hurl it back at Ash's face.
