Trivia[]
- According to Masamitsu Hidaka, the GS Ball stood for "Gold/Silver Ball" and was supposed to contain Celebi. It was intended to follow Ash Ketchum around in the Gold/Silver series. However, it was decided at the last minute to save Celebi for the movie Pokémon 4Ever, and the GS Ball was dropped from the anime with no explanation.
