LGPE Go Park

GO Park (Japanese: GOパーク, HepburnGO Park) is a special Pokémon preserve present in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!. The facility is located in Fuchsia City at the same area formerly used as a Safari Zone.

GO Park allows the player to transfer most Kanto Pokémon caught in Pokémon GO into the park. Alolan Forms, Meltan, and Melmetal can also be sent from Pokémon GO.

Areas[]

There are 20 different GO Parks, each capable of holding up to 50 Pokémon, giving a maximum capacity of 1,000 Pokémon. Each park contains a Play Yard.

Pokémon[]

The player can visit each GO Park to re-catch any Pokémon they send there from Pokémon GO. Only the first 150 Pokémon, their Alolan Forms, Meltan, and Melmetal can be sent from Pokémon GO into the GO Park. Mew, Shadow Pokémon, Purified Pokémon, and costumed Pokémon cannot be transferred. The transfer is a one-way process; the Pokémon cannot be sent back to Pokémon GO.

Pokémon re-caught in the GO Park maintain their height and weight from Pokémon GO and display a Pokémon GO origin mark. However, various other factors are changed:

  • The Pokémon's level is rounded down to the nearest whole number from its level in Pokémon GO. For example, a Pokémon at level 30.5 in Pokémon GO will be level 30 upon transfer to a GO Park.
  • The Pokémon's Poké Ball is changed to the Poké Ball that was used to re-catch it in GO Park. This allows for Pokémon and Poké Ball combinations that are impossible in Pokémon GO, such as catching a Meltan in a Premier Ball despite Meltan not being available in Raid Battles.
  • The Pokémon's moves are reset to the moves it would know in Let's Go at its current level.
  • The Pokémon's Original Trainer is changed to the Let's Go player. However, it will still earn 50% more Experience Points as if it was a Traded Pokémon.
  • The Pokémon's nickname is removed. Since the Original Trainer is set to the Let's Go player, they can freely change the Pokémon's nickname after catching it.
  • The Pokémon's nature is randomized. Like with wild Pokémon, the nature can be influenced by the fortune teller in the Celadon City Pokémon Center.
  • The Pokémon's Individual Values are doubled plus one from its Pokémon GO IVs. Since IVs max out at 15 in Pokémon GO, this allows for the typical maximum IV of 31 in the core games. Special Attack and Special Defense are calculated from Attack and Defense, respectively, while Speed is randomized. The following table shows the corresponding IVs and their calculations:
New IVs GO IV Formula
HP HP×2 + 1
Attack Attack×2 + 1
Defense Defense×2 + 1
Sp. Atk Attack×2 + 1
Sp. Def Defense×2 + 1
Speed Random

Minigames[]

Once the player has 25 of the same species of Pokémon in the GO Park complex, they can initiate a special minigame in the Play Yard. In the minigame, the player is tasked with leading all the Pokémon into the goal area within three minutes. If the player gets close enough to a Pokémon, it will follow the player. If the player bumps into one of the obstacles placed around the field, such as Diglett, Sandshrew, or Golem, the Pokémon currently following them will become surprised and run away. If all the Pokémon enter the goal area within the time limit, Candies will be awarded to the player.
