Forums: Index Help desk Bot flag

I think it is time to have a Wiki's bot account. I made a separate account, just needs to be toggled for a bot - this will be sent over the email to the Staff. Only need your approval, gals and guys. Its name is Energy 0.

Oh, and yeah, the bot can edit articles at a fast pace. It's just normal Notepad-like stuff that can replace one part of text with another. Quite useful. Energy X 21:14, October 6, 2017 (UTC)

Support Support: It will be better if there's a bot that's operated by one of the users, it will be much better that way. It might be quicker that way to sort things around as well instead of relying on the other bots that habe helped in the past.--Lordranged7 (talk) 21:19, October 6, 2017 (UTC)
Support Support: It looks fine. Seems like a great idea. Misch60 (talk) 21:23, October 6, 2017 (UTC)
Support Support: Okay. That will work out well.--Jokeman20 (talk) 21:57, October 6, 2017 (UTC)
Support Support: (edit conflict) Although CC's page (日本語) mentions the requirement of approval, I've had various cases of staff adding the bot user right flag if it comes from a bureaucrat regardless of whether a discussion is linked. I've seen bot features before, and it's more convenient than just opening tens and hundreds of tabs in the browser and saving them at once (which is what I do). I've used a bot in the past on another wiki. All we need is a user rights flag so none of the high amounts of edits are hogging the wiki activity list. PokémonGamer* 22:01, October 6, 2017 (UTC
Support Support: Great idea! It would lessen the workload by a lot.  Silent Songbird (talk) 09:24, October 7, 2017 (UTC)
