Fissure is a Ground-type move first introduced in Generation I.

Effect[]

Fissure knocks out the target if it faints. Its accuracy is calculated as the user's level minus the target's level plus 30. This means the accuracy increases by 1% for every level higher the user is from the target. If the user is a lower level than the target, Fissure fails. Fissure's accuracy is not affected by accuracy or evasion stats or modifiers like Compound Eyes or Gravity. Fissure will hit if an effect that guarantees a move hitting is in effect, such as Lock-On or No Guard. Flying-Types, Pokémon with Levitate, Pokémon on a semi-invulnerable turn (except for dig), and Dynamax Pokémon in Max Raid Battles are immune to Fissure.
