Finizen (Japanese: ナミイルカ, HepburnNamiiruka) (FIN-uh-zin[1]) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.

Biology[]

Physiology[]

Finizen is a small cetacean Pokémon that resembles a dolphin. Its body is primarily aquamarine with a white underbelly. Finizen has a pair to pink eyes and a cream-colored dorsal fin.

Behavior[]

Finizen is a very playful Pokémon and will usually interact with its own species. In Paldea, Finizen often view Barraskewda as a potential rival as both species are competing for food. Dragalge is Finizen's natural predator.

Natural abilities[]

Finizen emits ultrasonic waves to sense the emotions of other Pokémon. The water ring attached to Finizen's tail is made from a mixture of sticky fluids (which Finizen secretes from its blowhole) and seawater.

Evolution[]

Finizen evolves into Palafin at level 38 when in a Union Circle with another player.
