Verdanturf Town (Japanese: シダケタウン, Hepburn: Shidake Town) is a small town in the Hoenn region. It is known for having clean air and a windswept climate. Additionally, the town boasts a Contest HallRSORAS/Battle TentE in its westernmost point as well as the unfinished Rusturf Tunnel. To the east lies the Pokémon Day Care on Route 117.
In Hoenn-based games, Verdanturf is where Wally of Petalburg City comes to stay with his uncle and other family members as a means of recovering from the illness from which he suffers. He eventually runs away to develop his skills as a Trainer, making his way to Hoenn's Victory Road.
In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, there is a girl east of Wanda's house, claiming that she has lost her Shroomish somewhere near the signpost. Interacting with the signpost again will reveal the Shroomish behind the signpost, and then Shroomish will return to the girl. The girl will give an Intriguing Stone as a thanks.
