This Blastoise is a water-type Pokémon owned by the Battle Park.
Biography[]
When the Battle Park's owner left to get supplies, Team Rocket took Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise, challenging Ash to three battles. Jessie used Blastoise against Ash's Pikachu and as she was reading the rulebook, Blastoise got hit by Pikachu's Quick Attack. Blastoise attacked with Skull Bash and Bubble, but missed and got hit by Quick Attack. Blastoise locked on Pikachu and injured him with Hydro Pump. Pikachu used Thunderbolt to hit and Thunder to defeat Blastoise, but this was a distraction, as Pikachu was soon caught by Team Rocket. After going out of the Battle Park, Team Rocket used those Pokémon once more, but the Pokémon blasted them off (with Blastoise using Hydro Pump), recognizing the Park warden as their true owner.
