The Explorers are a mysterious organization that are the sworn enemies of the Rising Volt Tacklers appearing as the main antagonists in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. Their goals and motivations seems to revolve around the mysterious pendant and an ancient Poké Ball currently owned by Liko and Roy respectively which they are set on stealing them and even kidnapping them to unlock their secrets.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series/Pocket Monsters: Liko & Roy's Departure[]
Amethio first arrives at Indigo Academy when the long break was beginning. He asks one of the staff members for the whereabouts of Liko, who was staying at the campus for the break. He introduced himself as a "messenger" for Liko's Grandmother who would like her pendant returned. Seeing his reasons suspicious, Liko decides to take the good luck charm with her and run away.

- Their emblem and intro are very similar to those of the Original Team Plasma
