This Vileplume is a grass/poison-type Pokémon owned by Erika.
Biography[]
At the archery range in Celadon City, Erika sent Vileplume. Vileplume used Petal Dance on a Drowzee, as Erika suspected they had spies in their midst.[1] After retrieving Eevee, Red challenged Erika to a Gym Battle. Erika used Vileplume to attack Pikachu with Petal Dance. Pikachu evaded the attack, while Vileplume used Swords Dance. When Pikachu used Substitute, Erika's Vileplume attacked it. However, Erika saw Pikachu did that to protect Eevee, and she canceled the battle.[2]
Erika came with her Pokémon, including Vileplume, to meet up with Yellow near Celadon City.[3]
Vileplume defended Celadon City from Shellder and Cloyster's attacks with Petal Dance.[4]
