Dream Eater is Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I.

Description[]

Games	Description
GS C	Steals HP from a sleeping victim.
RS E	Takes one half the damage inflicted on a sleeping foe.
FRLG	Absorbs half the damage it inflicted on a sleeping foe to restore HP.
DP Pt HGSS	An attack that works only on a sleeping foe. It absorbs half the damage caused to heal the user's HP.
BW B2W2 XY ORAS	The user eats the dreams of a sleeping target. It absorbs half the damage caused to heal its own HP.
SM USUM PE	The user eats the dreams of a sleeping opponent. It absorbs half the damage it has to heal its own HP.

Effect[]

It only works when the foe is asleep. This move "eats" the opponent Pokémon's dream to drain the HP of the foe to restore the user's. It is used by Munna and Musharna, among other Pokémon.
