Drampa (Japanese: ジジーロン, Hepburn: Jijiiron) is a normal/Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. It is exclusive to Pokémon Moon.
Biology
Physiology
Drampa is a serpentine dragon Pokémon with mostly bluish green skin. Its underside and three spots on the side are pale green. Its pupilless eyes are pink with yellow thick eyebrows. It has a short mustache and a white beard on its chin. It also has white hair covering its short tail, arms, and underbelly.
Behavior
Drampa likes to communicate with humans and other kinds of Pokémon. They treat children gently, and frequently gather at playgrounds and schools.
Although they are mostly kind Pokémon, when they know children they befriended are facing danger, they will become extremely angry. At that time their Dragon Breath can even reach the power that can blow away a building!

It appears in towns and plays with the children. Drampa will protect kids when they're in danger, so their moms don't have to worry.
- Sword
The mountains it calls home are nearly two miles in height. On rare occasions, it descends to play with the children living in the towns below.
- Shield
Drampa is a kind and friendly Pokémon up until it's angered. When that happens, it stirs up a gale and flattens everything around.

Anime
A Drampa, nicknamed Grandpa Forest makes its debut in Tasting the Bitter with the Sweet!
Trivia
- So far, Drampa is the only Normal/Dragon-type Pokémon.
- Drampa can be seen as a counterpart to Turtonator. Both are dual-Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. Both also have the same BST with the same stats with the exception of Speed. Turtonator is exclusive to Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Drampa is exclusive to Pokémon Moon and Pokémon Ultra Moon.
Origin
Drampa is apparently based on an Eastern dragon from various Asian cultures, particularly Zhulong from Chinese mythology (a dragon with a man's face which can create daytime by opening its eyes and nighttime by closing them, as well as causing seasonal winds with its breathing). It may also be based on elders, such as its white beard and hair.
Etymology
Drampa might be a combination of dragon and grandpa.
Names in other languages

- Japanese: Jijilong (combination of jiji (old man) and long (Chinese for dragon)).
