Dr. Akihabara is a character in Pokémon: Indigo League.
Biograpghy
Season 1: Indigo League
Dr. Ahkihabara was the inventor of the Pokémon Transport System. Due to the problems, he went to see what was wrong with the machine, so he transported Ash, Brock, Misty and his own Porygon to get Team Rocket out, who were taking the Pokémon for themselves. The mission was a success, though Akihabara's mansion was destroyed.
