This Tinkatuff is a Fairy/Steel-type Pokémon owned by Dot.

Personality[]

Tinkatuff, as a Tinkatink, was emotional and tended to cry a lot for various reasons. However, she quickly took an interest in Dot as she went looking for her after making a new hammer out of her microphone. Tinkatink eventually formed a bond with Dot and refused to leave her side. She is also very hyperactive.

As Tinkatuff, she has become much more tougher and braver, as well as more confident in herself.

Being true to her species, Tinkatuff has a habit of grabbing anything metallic just to make a hammer. Due to her propensity of welding metal, she has a good eye to distinguish good metal from inferior ones.

When Tinkatuff is focusing on upgrading her hammer, she blocks out everything around her to concentrate on her work.

Biography[]

As Tinkatink[]

Tinkatink first appeared looking for ways to make a new hammer as she tried to take a man's hammer, but he refused to give it to her. However, Tinkatink was watched by Dot and her Quaxly as she gave her back her current hammer when she got upset. Seeing a pink microphone in her bag, Tinkatink took it so she can make a hammer out of it. After finishing it, Tinkatink noticed Dot gone and decided to find her and show her hard work. Tinkatink search for Dot has led her to the Brave Olivine as she goes to search. Although she was scared by the various Pokémon around her, Tinkatink was able to find Dot and showed her hard work. However, Tinkatink was accused by Liko and Roy for taking the steel they need for the airship. Fortunately, Tinkatink was proven innocent by Dot and Friede. When the real culprit arrived and attacked them, Tinkatink was saved by Dot but lost her hammer as the two followed it in order to get it back. Through Dot and Quaxly's help, Tinkatink got her hammer back and send the culprit away. Tinkatink was given an apology from Liko and Roy for accusing her. After Dot said goodbye to her, Tinkatink didn't move, which got her to realize that she wants to go with her. Once given a PokéBall from Quaxly, Tinkatink was caught by Dot and became part of her team. Tinkatink was introduced on Dot's steam name Nidothing, but the introduction was cut short when she attempted to pull off Nidothing's zipper.[1]

When Tinktaink tried tampering with Murdock's pan, she got chased onto the deck and accidentally launched herself into the air, until she was saved by Blanca's Lycanroc. After Dot and Quaxly succeeded in defeating Blanca's Lycanroc, Tinktatink rushed to congratulate Quaxly with a hug.[2]

Dot late brought Tinktatink and Quaxly along to stop the Explorers' summoning device, which they succeeded in deactivating after Tinktaink and Quaxly faced Chalce's Medicham. However, Tinkatink later became terrified, so Dot returned her into her Poké Ball.[3]

When Dot was struggling with her rehearsal on Terastalization test, Tinkatink accidentally provoked a Varoom that stole Dot's Nidothing costume. Fortunately, Dot and Quaxly helped Tinkatink defeat the Varoom afterwards.[4]

Tinkatink was sent out by Dot to have her first battle against Larry, due to Quaxly being paralyzed. Tinkatink was initially intimidated by Larry's Dudunsparce, but decided to fight on after being encouraged by Quaxly. She used her hammer to block out Dudunsparce's Glare, and then used Brutal Swing against Dudunsparce's Hyper Drill. Unfortunately, she was defeated after Larry switched out Dudunsparce for Staraptor, who overpowered her with Wing Attack.[5]

During the Explorers' attack at Naranja Academy, Dot instructed Tinkatink to do a sneak attack from behind Chalce. Although Dot was unable to prevent Terapagos' information from being stolen by Chalce, Tinkatink still did her best with destroying Chalce's computer.[6]

In Kitakami, Tinktatink's hammer had grown in size on Professor Friede and the kids' way to find Briar. On the way, Tinktink found a piece of good iron, only for it to be stolen by a nasty wild Bombirdier despite Quaxwell trying to help her. She then ran off on her own in an attempt to retrieve the iron, despite getting lost. Eventually, Tinktaink found out the Bombirdier's nest and retrieved the iron, which resulted in her being able to upgrade her hammer again. Realizing Quaxwell and Dot were in trouble against the Bombirdier and its mate, Tinktatink decided to help them regardless of her struggles to heave her hammer. Then as she wiped her tears away with determination and raised her upgraded hammer, she summarily evolved into Tinkatuff.[7]

As Tinkatuff[]

After evolving, Tinkatuff was able to get her payback against the Terastalized Bombirdier and its mate, learning Play Rough during the process. She then smiled at the fact of Dot being proud of her, then continued her pursuit to make her hammer bigger.[7]
