Template:InfoboxTV Disney XD is a digital cable and satellite channel that is run by the Walt Disney Company's Disney Media Networks as part of the Disney Channels Worldwide unit of their Disney–ABC Television Group which was founded in 2009 as a successor to their former channel Toon Disney.

Disney XD also broadcasts several shows such as Phineas and Ferb, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Star Wars Rebels, Gravity Falls, Milo Murphy's Law, Walk The Prank, and among others.

Originally Disney XD's involvement with the Pokémon anime was airing it throughout Europe in places like the United Kingdom and Ireland, but starting in 2017, Disney XD gained the full airing rights to the Pokémon anime in the United States[1] and will be in charge of airing Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, as well gaining the airing rights to the previous episodes and movies. The first two episodes of Sun and Moon will be shown as a part of a sneak peek that will be aired alongside Pokémon The Movie - Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel on December 5, 2016, but the full series run began when Pokémon the Series: XYZ completed its run on Cartoon Network. The regular episodes for Sun and Moon had began airing in May 2017, with the new episodes beginning May 13th.[2] As Disney XD airs the Sun and Moon Arc, Disney Channel Asia has begun airing Pokémon starting from the Black and White Arc but only in selected Asian countries (these being Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia). As of July 24, 2018, Disney Channel Asia has begun airing the Sun and Moon Arc.
