Diggersby (Japanese: ホルード, HepburnHoruudo) is a Normal/Ground-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI.

Biology

Physiology

Diggersby is a large bipedal rabbit-like Pokémon. It has a bulky, muscular build, with a round paunchy belly. Its fur is mainly gray in color, with brown patches (resembling splotches of mud) on the tips of its ears, its feet, its muzzle, and its belly. It has a round face with brown whiskers on its cheeks, a pink triangular nose, and squinted white eyes and a toothy grin. Its large white rabbit-like incisors protrude from beneath its upper jaw. Diggersby has extraordinarily long, powerful ears with brown-tipped claw-like digits on the ends; its ears actually function as extremely powerful arms, which it uses to excavate, lift heavy objects, and battle with. Due to its arm-like ears, Diggersby rarely uses its arms, which are quite slim, with small white tipped paws. It has a woolly mass of brown and yellow striped fur around its belly, which it tucks its small paws into.

Behavior

Diggersby is a helpful Pokémon; they commonly assist construction workers using their extraordinary excavation skills. After working, Diggersby tend to lounge lazily.

Special abilities

Diggersby's ears have incredible strength, allowing it to lift extremely heavy objects and excavate with great expertise. With its digging ears, It can reduce bedrock to rubble and lift boulders weighing more than a ton.

Evolution

Diggersby evolves from Bunnelby at level 20.
