The Devon Parts, originally named Devon Goods, is a key item introduced in Generation III.
Effect[]
The Devon Parts was stolen by a Team Magma Grunt in Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Omega Ruby or a Team Aqua Grunt in Pokémon Sapphire Version, Pokémon Emerald Version, and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. The player can obtain it by defeating said grunt in a Pokémon Battle in Rusturf Tunnel.
After delivering the Letter to Steven Stone in Granite Cave, Mr. Briney informs the player about Mr. Stone's another request to deliver the parts to Captain Stern in Slateport City's Oceanic Museum. The Devon Parts must be given to Captain Stern so that he can set out on his expedition.
The Devon Parts exists as an unused item in Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version, complete with unique flavor text.
