The Desert Ruins is a location in the desert section of Route 111, where Regirock can be caught.

Description

The first room of the ruins contains a visual braille message that translates to "Right, right, down, down, then use Strength". From the middle of the braille message, the player must take two steps right, two steps down, and then use strength. In the Emerald Version, the braille message is different as it translates to "Left, left, down, down, then use Rock Smash". From the middle of the braille message, the player must take two steps left, two steps down, and then use Rock Smash. After completed the required method, the way to the next room will open.

In the second room, Regirock stands alone. It is recommended that the player should save its game before interacting with Regirock as there is only one available in the entire game.

How to Encounter Regirock

To access the Desert Ruins, the puzzle of Sealed Chamber must be completed.

In Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the player must go two steps right and two steps south from the Braille and then use Strength. Afterwards the door to Regirock's chamber will be opened.

In Emerald, the player must go two steps left and two steps south from the Braille and then use Rock Smash instead.
