The Data Broadcast (Japanese: データ放送, Hepburn: Deeta Housou) is a special segment featuring a different Pokémon every episode and can be participated in by pressing the "d" button on the remote, as the viewer fills a gauge while the program is running. It only occurs during the original airings of episodes on the TX Network. The first episode to use it was "Battling the King of the Mines!".
