Hey Trainers, it's your lucky day so don't delay!

[Roland, running with Magby, overhears and stops by.]

Roland

Whoa.

Meowth

Don't be shy, guy. Give Mime Junior Day Care a try.

[Jessie and James confront Roland with a smile.]

Jessie

Well! Hi, guy!

James

Give us two hours and we'll give you an evolved Magby, see?

Roland

Cool, but I bet it's not cheap.

Jessie

Fear not. Because during our trial period, there's no cost to you.

James

Woo, woo, woo!

Roland

Yeah!

[Jessie and James corral Roland and his Magby through the door to the Day-care Center.]

Jessie

Simply stroll inside and soon you'll be up to speed.

Roland

[The opening theme and title card plays.]

[Inside, Roland is sat down while Team Rocket explain in-front of a whiteboard showing Magby, a Pokeball, a plug, and a Magmar, with arrows in-between.]

Jessie

[An excited Team Rocket cover the foreground in-front of Roland.]

Jessie

We'll take care of Magby, all right. With eyes firmly focused on the boss.

Meowth

A gift like Magby will set the boss free.

[Meowth's dream plays. It shows Giovanni peeling a vegetable on top of a Barbecue rack in front of Team Rocket members disguised as waiters. He gives up.]

Meowth

Say he's having the annual Team Rocket barbecue, but the charcoal just ain't cooperating. Oi! The frustrating embarrassment!

Magby (In Meowth's voice)

(Enthusiastic) Magby-Mag!

[Magby blows fire onto the barbecue.]

Meowth

Magby will have it roaring in no time.

[A happy Giovanni raises up two cooked kebabs. Magby celebrates.]

Magby (In Meowth's voice)

(Enthusiastic) Magby-Mag!

[In the next scene, many unlit candles are on a large cake with a Pokeball. Team Rocket Grunts are holding glasses of red wine, while Giovanni tries to light the candles with a matchbox, but fails.]

Meowth

Or it's his birthday, and he can't light that load of candles. What's a birthday boss to do?

Magby (In Meowth's voice)

(Enthusiastic) Magby-Mag!

[Magby blows fire onto the candles, lighting all of them up.]

Meowth

One blast from Magby and that cake will light up the whole room!

[A happy Giovanni holds a slice of cake on a plate in one hand and a glass of red wine with the other.]

Magby (In Meowth's voice)

(Proud) Magby-Mag!

[The next scene shows a stormy night outside Team Rocket's Headquarters building.]

Meowth

Wait. There's more! What if Headquarters gets hit by a typhoon, and the power poops out?

[The building's lights go off. Inside, Giovanni, holding a candle, struggles to find the matchbox.]

Meowth

It's so dark he can't find the nose on his face, or matches. But see?

Magby (In Meowth's voice)

(Enthusiastic) Magby-Mag!

[Magby lights up Giovanni's candle.]

Meowth

Magby will appear and everything will become clear.

Magby (In Meowth's voice)

(Proud) Magby.

Meowth

Then you know what we'll hear?

Giovanni (In Meowth's voice)

Because Meowth and friends have shown me the light with Magby, it's time for me to light up their lives with a pile of dough.

[The dream ends. Back to an excited Team Rocket.]

Team Rocket

(Singing) Fire up the bank account, 'cause we'll be rich!

Roland

Why are you singing?

Team Rocket

Hm?! Can't you guess? It's our song of success!

[Team Rocket brings their hand out. Roland passes Magby's Pokeball to them.]

Roland

OK, so here's my Magby.

[Roland runs away and waves.]

Roland

See you later.

James

Later meaning two little hours.

[Team Rocket chuckle evilly to themselves.]

Narrator

Our heroes happily continue their journey to the beautiful Lakeside Resort, where the Grand Festival is soon slated to begin.

[The heroes stop, becoming distracted by Roland gawking at Ash's Pikachu.]

Roland

Aww! It's so cute!

Dawn's Piplup

(Bashful, waving its arm) Piplup!

Roland

(With glowing stars) Excuse me, but is that your Pikachu?

Dawn's Piplup

Lup...

Ash Ketchum

Uh, yeah, this is my buddy. Meet Pikachu.

Ash's Pikachu

Pika-Pikachu!

Roland

My name's Roland, and I'm gonna have my own Pikachu one day.

Ash Ketchum

My name's Ash. Hi.

Dawn

Hi. My name's Dawn.

Brock

Hi Roland. My name's Brock.

Roland

Say, you think I could play with your Pikachu some?

Ash Ketchum

Sure, no prob'.

Ash's Pikachu

Pika!

[In the park, Roland and Pikachu are playing ball. Ash, Dawn and Brock watch on, while Piplup grumpily looks away from Roland.]

Brock

This must be the first time he's met a Pikachu.

Ash Ketchum

Looks that way.

Dawn

Piplup, why not play with them too?

Dawn's Piplup

(Grumpy) Piplup!

Dawn

(Strokes Piplup's head) Don't be like that. Come on.

[Roland and Pikachu laugh as they return to Ash.]

Roland

Wow, thanks a lot! Pikachu's sure a lot of fun!

[Pikachu hops back onto Ash's shoulder.]

Ash Ketchum

You bet. Pikachu's Pokémon partner number one!

Ash's Pikachu

Pikachu!

Dawn

So Roland, what kind of Pokémon do you have?

Roland

Pokémon? I've got me a Magby.

[Dawn rummages for her Pokedex.]

Dawn

Magby, huh?

Roland

Magby's cool all right.

Dawn

Hmm...

[She opens the Pokedex.]

Pokédex

Magby. The Live Coal Pokémon. Magby has a magma-like substance in its body and emits super-fiery breath.

Dawn

Can I see?

Ash Ketchum

I want to see, too.

Roland

I just left Magby at Pokémon Day Care. They're gonna evolve my Magby in two hours flat.

[The heroes become concerned.]

Ash Ketchum

Two hours flat?

Dawn

Can they even promise that?

Brock

Sounds strange to me.

Roland

(Realizes) Huh?

[Roland has a still look on his face. Outside the Day Care Center, Roland becomes sad.]

Dawn

You sure the Day Care center's here?

Roland

I'm positive. They had a big billboard out front that said Mime Junior Day Care.

Brock

Sounds fishy to me.

Ash Ketchum

Yeah? Well, we're gonna find out what's up!

Roland

Guess I'll have to let Bertha know right away.

Brock

Let Bertha know?

Roland

Yeah. You see, Bertha knows everything there is to know about Pokémon.

Bertha

(Off-screen, startling Roland) And what are you up to, Roland?

Roland

Well, it's Bertha. What do you know.

[Everyone turns to see Bertha.]

Ash Ketchum

Wow. Bertha, huh?

Bertha

'Course is. Now who else would it be? Do you have a name?

[Ash sweats and steps back.]

Ash Ketchum

Sure, it's Ash.

Dawn

Hi. I'm Dawn.

Brock

Ma'am, my name is Brock. You're Bertha. Let me see... Bertha... Ah! It can't be!

[Bertha drags Brock by the arm and runs. Brock screams.]

Brock

You're not Bertha of the Elite Four, are you?

Bertha

That's right. I am. But, I don't like to be called one of the Elite Four at all. (Whispers) It's a secret.

Brock

(Sweats) Yes, ma'am.

Bertha

Roland. It's time for your Pokémon training. Now, I told you to hurry it up, so what in the world's taking so long?

Roland

You see, somebody stole my Magby.

Bertha

Stole your Magby?! (Disappointed) Oh, land sakes, Roland, what am I going to do with you?

Brock

Is this your grandson?

Bertha

Child of a cousin. Roland says he wants to get better at Pokémon battles, so I was asked to look after him. (To Roland) If I told you once, I told you a thousand times. Once you have a Pokémon, you have a responsibility to watch out for that Pokémon day in and day out.

Roland

Right.

Bertha

Now, how could you let that happen? I feel sorry for poor Magby.

Brock

And of course, that's why you're one of the Elite...

[Bertha clears her throat loudly. Brock yelps and covers her mouth.]

Bertha

Now Roland. You must get Magby back. You have to learn to correct your own mistakes. You owe Magby that much at least.

Roland

I will!

Ash Ketchum

All right! We'll help too!

Ash's Pikachu

Pika-Pika!

Dawn's Piplup

Pip-Piplup!

[The team set off together.]

Bertha

So we've got a Trainer and a Coordinator, I see.

Ash Ketchum

I've got seven Gym Badges so far.

Dawn

And I'm on my way to compete in the Grand Festival, right now.

Bertha

So that means I'll get a chance to see how strong you both are.

Ash Ketchum

What do you mean how strong we are?

Bertha

You'll see. Have you figured out how you'll search for Magby yet?

Ash Ketchum

(Embarrassed) Wow, to tell the truth...

Dawn

We're kind of clueless.

Brock

The only thing we know for sure is there were three people involved in the theft.

Roland

So, what do we do?

Bertha

While we're having this nice little talk, they might get away.

[The others grumble. Ash notices a building in the distance.]

Ash Ketchum

Huh? Oh! That building's got an observatory! We can see the whole town from there.

Bertha

Hm...

[The team gather near the top of the observatory. Roland peeps through the binoculars.]

Ash Ketchum

See anything?

Roland

Just a second...

[Roland scans the town. He notices the three familiar looking figures.]

Roland

Oh! Down there! Those three are the ones!

[Roland runs off, but stops and listens to Bertha.]

Bertha

Confirm the location.

Roland

Huh? OK.

Ash Ketchum

Let's go to that park by the fountain!

Roland

Right.

[Cut to Team Rocket.]

Jessie

We'll evolve your Pokémon in two hours at Wobbuffet's Day Care.

Meowth

With our famous no-money back guarantee.

James

And that's certainly not all, because for a limited time, we're offering all this for free.

Roland

(Off-screen) I want my Magby back!

Team Rocket

Huh?

[Ash & friends have arrived.]

James

Magby? Pish posh.

Meowth

That Pokémon's not our thing.

Jessie

It does strike an unfamiliar ring.

[As Jessie leans on the building, it collapses. Team Rocker screams.]

Bertha

Just who are you people?

Jessie

(Cackles and doffs, revealing her Team Rocket uniform) I think your silly question needs work.

James

Admitting ignorance makes you look like a jerk.

Jessie

On the wind.

James

Past the stars.

Meowth

You're berserk.

Jessie

Bringing chaos at a breakneck pace.

James

Dashing hope, bringing fear in its place.

Jessie

A rose by any other name's just as sweet.

James

When everything's worse, our work is complete.

Jessie

Jessie.

James

And James.

Meowth

Meowth, that's a name.

Jessie

Putting the do-gooders in their place.

Brock

They're criminals who steal other people's Pokémon.

Ash Ketchum

Give Roland's Magby back now!

Jessie

(Draws a smoke bomb) Eat my pink dust.

[Jessie drops the smoke bomb. It explodes and causes a pink dust cloud. Team Rocket run away.]

Team Rocket

Feet don't fail me now!

[The pink dust clears.]

Brock

Hey, where did Bertha go?

Bertha

(Off-screen) I'm right here!

[Bertha appears behind them. Brock yelps.]

Brock

Are you all right?

Bertha

Deal with them.

Roland

Let's get 'em!

[Roland runs after Team Rocket. Dawn follows him.]

Dawn

We're coming, too!

Ash Ketchum

Hey! Wait a minute!

[Dawn and Roland stop and turn to Ash.]

Dawn & Roland

Huh?

Ash Ketchum

Hey, why don't we head them off from both sides?

[Bertha smiles. Roland and Brock run together.]

Brock

Hold on!

Roland

Give me my Magby!

[Cut to Team Rocket, further ahead and still running.]

Meowth

Hey, maybe we should ask them how long to hold on.

[Ash's group appear in-front of Team Rocket.]

Ash Ketchum

OK, Team Rocket, give it up!

[Team Rocket make a left turn, annoying Ash's team.]

Ash Ketchum

Ah! Hey, wait!

[In the field, Ash's team stop and notice a group of windmills.]

Ash Ketchum

Whoa guys, look! They've got to be hiding in one of those windmills.

Dawn

We'll just have to search them one by one.

Roland

Yeah?

Bertha

Just a moment please.

Everyone

Huh?

Bertha

Look more carefully.

Everyone

Huh?

[The heroes scan the area once again. One of the 'windmills' has stopped.]

Bertha

(Annoyed) Oh, come on! The second one from the right.

[The camera closes in on the 'windmill'.]

Ash Ketchum

That one's not turning!

Bertha

Maybe this is a good time to give you some advice. You would do well to strengthen your powers of observation.

Ash Ketchum

I'll have to think about that.

[Cut to a happy Team Rocket.]

James

The odds of the twerps finding us in here are zilch!

Jessie

And while they wander aimlessly like boats without a rudder, we can plot our next dastardly deed.

[Ash's group heads toward them.]

Meowth

Their aim's not that bad!

Jessie

And it's straight at us!

James

They're not psychic. They're dumb!

Jessie

Who cares? Let's move out.

[The 'windmill' collapses down. Ash's team yelp in shock.]

Dawn

Oh no!

[It falls to the ground in a puff of gold dust. The Meowth balloon inflates and hovers up.]

Team Rocket

We're leaving you flat!

Ash Ketchum

That's not gonna happen! Staraptor, I choose you!

Ash's Staraptor

Staraptor!

Ash Ketchum

Use Aerial Ace!

[Staraptor glows and charges.]

Jessie

Here we go!

Meowth

I'll take care of the schmo. Ho ho!

[Meowth activates the button on his remote. The balloon deploys a Metallic Staraptor attached to a rope.]

Meowth

Aerial Ace defense below!

[The metal Staraptor hits and drops Ash's Staraptor.]

Ash's Staraptor

(Hurt) Star!

Ash Ketchum

Staraptor!

Bertha

Guess we've got no choice. (Smiles) Follow me.

Everyone

Huh?

[A moment later, Ash's group are on a ride in Bertha's buggy. They scream as the buggy traverses across the hilly road.]

Bertha

Hang on tight, gang!

Ash Ketchum

I'll do my best!

Ash's Pikachu

(Scared) Pika!

Roland

Wow Bertha, you're the coolest!

Bertha

While you're hanging on remember you're on the lookout, too!

Ash Ketchum

Whoa! Oh man!

[Ash and Pikachu see a gap in the trees to their right, noticing Team Rocket.]

Ash's Pikachu

(Scared) Pika!

Ash Ketchum

Go right!

[Bertha steers the buggy to the right. Everyone else screams while the buggy turns.]

Bertha

You're up, Gliscor! Let's go!

Bertha's Gliscor

Gli! Gliscor!

[Gliscor approaches the balloon.]

Jessie

The twerps on wheels!

Meowth

They can't drive!

Bertha

Use Guillotine!

[Gliscor glows its claws.]

Bertha's Gliscor

Gli...

Meowth

Who cares if they got a chauffeur? Those twerps are full of hot air. Guillotine defense!

[A metallic Gliscor appears under the balloon and prepares a Guillotine attack, but is broken by the Guillotine from Bertha's Gliscor.]

Bertha's Gliscor

..scor!

[Gliscor punctures through the balloon. Team Rocket scream as the balloon deflates across the sky.]

Dawn

It worked!

Ash Ketchum

Yes!

Ash's Pikachu

Pika!

Bertha

They're not going anywhere now.

[The balloon falls down in-front of them.]

Bertha

Hold on!

[While Ash's team continue to scream in enjoyment, Team Rocket slump to the ground, moaning. The buggy arrives by them and skids to a halt. Ash's team confront them.]

Ash Ketchum

Okay, Team Rocket, it's over!

Roland

Give me back my Magby!

Jessie

(Angrily) How about a Swift kick instead?

Wobbuffet

Wob-bu!

Jessie

Seviper, heads up!

[Jessie deploys Seviper.]

Jessie's Seviper

Seviper!

James

Carnivine, heads up too!

[Carnivine is deployed from James' Poke Ball. It attacks James. Jessie and Meowth sweatdrop.]

James

I must choose my words more carefully!

Ash Ketchum

Buizel, I choose you!

Ash's Buizel

Bui-Bui!

Dawn

Pachirisu, let's go!

Dawn's Pachirisu

Chipa-Chipa!

Jessie

Seviper, use Bite, quick!

[Seviper approaches Buizel and attempts to Bite, but Buizel leaps to dodge.]

Jessie's Seviper

Se...viper!

Ash Ketchum

Buizel, Sonic Boom, go!

Ash's Buizel

Bu...i!

[Buizel releases a wave, hitting Seviper and causing the rest of Team Rocket to scream.]

James

Now, Carnivine, Bullet Seed, big time!

[Pachirisu jumps to dodge Bullet Seed.]

Dawn

Pachirisu, Spark!

Dawn's Pachirisu

Chipa-chipa-chipa-chipa-chip!

[Spark hits Carnivine, causing it to collide with Seviper.]

Ash Ketchum

Buizel, Sonic Boom again!

Ash's Buizel

Bui-Bui...Bui!

[Sonic Boom hits Team Rocket, causing an explosion. Roland catches the Pokeball.]

Roland

My Poké Ball's back!

Bertha

Then this would be a perfect time for you to join the battle, Roland.

Roland

Right! (Throws the Pokeball) OK, Magby, go!

Roland's Magby

By!

James

Carnivine, Vine Whip!

[Carnivine hits Magby with the move. It gets back up.]

Roland

Show them your strength with Flamethrower!

[Magby hits Carnivine back with its move. Carnivine hugs James and starts crying.]

James

There, there. Don't let those tussling twerps bully you.

Jessie

(Angrily) You're messing with the new and improved Team Rocket, and you're going to pay!

Meowth

Today!

[Meowth presses a button on his remote.]

Meowth

Launching Powering Up Parts!

[Cannons are fired. Body armor and upgrades are equipped on both Seviper and Carnivine.]

Roland

Check it out!

Ash Ketchum

They kidding or what?

Dawn

(Annoyed, punching the air) You sneaks!

Bertha

(Gasps) I am not amused.

James

Our Powering Up Parts are in place.

Jessie

We'll see who's got a brave face.

Meowth

Let's knock some twerps into space!

[The upgraded Carnivine hits Pachirisu with Vine Whip.]

James

Power Vine Whip!

[Seviper hits Buizel with Poison Tail.]

Jessie

Power Poison Tail! (Laughs) You see? We pack more punch than previously.

[Ash's team groan in frustration. Team Rocket laugh out loud.]

Bertha

How dare you tamper with Pokémon like that!

Team Rocket

Huh?

[Bertha steps forward between Ash's team.]

Bertha

Every Pokémon Battle has to be executed fair and square. What a Pokémon doesn't naturally have, it does without!

Jessie

(Angrily) Complaints? Save them for the twerps! Seviper, go!

James

(Angrily) Right! You're just jealous. Carnivine, now!

[Carnivine and Seviper prepare to attack again.]

Bertha

It's your turn Golem! Rock Blast, let's go!

[Golem appears and uses Rock Blast. Carnivine and Seviper's upgrades disappear. They both faint next to Team Rocket.]

Bertha

Hm.

Dawn

Wow!

Ash Ketchum

That's strong.

Ash's Pikachu

Pika.

Bertha

Roland, are you just going to stand there?

Roland

Magby, use Fire Punch. go!

[Magby hits and blasts Team Rocket with Fire Punch. Jessie pouts.]

Jessie

Those primo powering up parts ended up costing Team Rocket a pretty penny.

James

Well, we can all thank that seasoned citizenette.

Meowth

She'd probably say "You're welcome".

Team Rocket

We're blasting off again!

Ash Ketchum

That's great that you got your Magby back, Roland.

Bertha

Now let's just make sure this doesn't ever happen again, all right?

Roland

Right!

Dawn

I can't believe how strong you are, Bertha.

Brock

What do you expect from a member of the Elite Four?

[Dawn and Piplup react in shock. Brock realizes and covers his mouth with both hands.]

Dawn

Huh? Brock couldn't possibly be saying you're the Bertha from the Elite Four now could he?

Bertha

(Sighs) A cutscene of the Elite Four appear.

Ash Ketchum

That's why you're so strong.

Bertha

You know, I really don't like the name Elite Four at all. I'm sorry.

[She walks a few steps.]

Bertha

Regardless, the main thing is Roland's got his Magby back, and we have you all to thank for it. How can I repay you?

Ash Ketchum

I know! How about having a Pokémon battle with me?

Bertha

(Surprised) Seriously?

Ash Ketchum

I wanna see how well I can do battling you. Please? Say that you will?

Bertha

(Impressed) Now that's the kind of spirit I like.

[Bertha and Ash are on opposite sides of the battlefield.]

Bertha

All right Hippowdon, it's your turn!

Bertha's Hippowdon

Hippowdon! (Lands on the ground with a thud. Roars) Hippowdon!

Pokédex

Hippowdon. The Heavyweight Pokémon. A surprisingly fierce Pokémon, Hippowdon opens its giant mouth to intimidate adversaries.

Ash Ketchum

Hippowdon, huh? All right Torterra, I choose you!

Ash's Torterra

Torterra!

Ash Ketchum

Let's start off with Leaf Storm!

[As Torterra fires Leaf Storm, Hippowdon digs underground to dodge. Ash groans. Torterra looks around.]

Ash Ketchum

Where did it go?

Bertha

Hippowdon, use Iron Head!

[Hippowdon digs up the ground on the Torterra's front-left and hits the Pokemon with the move, causing it to crash back to the ground.]

Dawn

Ah! Incredible power!

Ash Ketchum

Torterra, are you all right?

Ash's Torterra

Terra.

Ash Ketchum

Okay, Rock Climb!

[Torterra pounds the ground and levers Hippowdon with the move. It starts climbing up the rock.]

Bertha

Use Iron Head to intercept it!

[Hippowdon climbs down the rock and hits Torterra with Iron Head. After a tussle between the two, the Rock Climb collapses. Everyone watching gasps in alarm.]

Ash Ketchum

Torterra!

Bertha

Is that the best you can do, young man?

Ash Ketchum

(Groans)

Bertha

Ash, I told you once before. You need to strengthen your powers of observation.

Dawn

There's that phrase again.

Bertha

You should heed my words as well, young lady, since it will assist you in your Pokémon Contests.

Bertha

Observe not only your own Pokémon, but your opponent's Pokémon too. How much do you really know about them? It boils down to your powers of observation. How much damage has your Pokémon taken? Can they continue battling? What moves are effective on your opponent? In contests, too. Watch as many Pokémon moves as you can. Try them out and increase the variety of moves you already have. But of course battles and contests aren't the only chance you've got to sharpen up your skills. It's important to work those skills on a daily basis.

Dawn

That must be how you knew that Team Rocket was hiding behind that one windmill.

Bertha

That's right, dear. Now try those observation skills.

Ash Ketchum

(Growls in annoyance) Torterra, can you go on?

[Torterra breaks free of the rocks.]

Ash's Torterra

Terra. (Roars) Terra-a-a!

Ash Ketchum

(To himself) Torterra's taken damage, but we're going for it. Let's see what Hippowdon's up to.

[Ash reacts to Hippowdon digging again.]

Bertha

You see? In a Pokémon Battle, you have to be able to make the quick decisions.

Ash Ketchum

(Grumbles) All right, where? Where's it coming up next? Huh?

[He flashes back to the earlier moment where Hippowdon dug.]

Ash Ketchum

(To himself) When Hippowdon comes out of the ground... I can figure out Hippowdon's position when I see the rocks move. (Looks around) Observation.

[The camera pans around Torterra.]

Ash Ketchum

I'm an observer. I'm doing it!

Ash's Torterra

Terra? Terra?

[The camera zooms in on where the rocks start rumbling.]

Ash Ketchum

Torterra! Behind you on the left!

All right, Torterra, Leaf Storm!

[Leaf Storm hits and blasts Hippowdon from close range, landing with a thud.]

Bertha

A job well done.

[Hippowdon starts digging under the ground again.]

Ash Ketchum

(Groaning) Not again. (Looking around) Where is it this time? (To himself) Got to keep my eyes on those moving rocks.

[As the camera pans around, the rocks start to rustle.]

Ash Ketchum

Now what?!

Bertha

Hm. There are no guarantees the same thing will happen two times in a row. Hippowdon, Iron Head, let's go!

[Torterra is hit on the head and blasted with Iron Head.]

Bertha

Now use Fire Fang!

[Hippowdon bites Torterra with Fire Fang as they both fall to the ground with a loud thud.]

Ash Ketchum

Torterra!

Dawn

Whoa! What a move!

Roland

Bertha's the absolute best.

[Torterra faints.]

Ash Ketchum

Torterra, are you okay?

Ash's Pikachu

(Concerned) Pikachu!

Bertha

Well, that's about right for a Trainer with seven badges.

Ash's Torterra

Terra.

Ash Ketchum

Wow, Torterra, you were awesome. Thanks so much.

Bertha

And as for you, Ash, you still have to get stronger, no doubt about that. But you do an excellent job of keeping cool and calm during the heat of battle.

Ash Ketchum

Bertha, thank you. So, do you think I can win the Sinnoh League?

Bertha

I guess you won't know until you give it a try, will you? Whatever, it all depends on you developing those powers of observation, right?

Ash Ketchum

[The buggy drives off. Ash and friends are inside.]
