This is a transcript of the Pokémon: DP Sinnoh League Victors episode: "Regaining the Home Advantage!".

Ash Ketchum

I'm sure we'll be off of this mountain soon.

Ash's Pikachu

Pika-pika!

Dawn

I think so, too.

[Brock looks at the map on his Pokedex.]

Brock

Let's see. Good! Looks like there's a pretty big town farther down this path.

Dawn's Piplup

Piplup, Piplup!

[Piplup walks on, determined.]

Dawn

Aww! I guess Piplup wants to lead us there!

Brock

That's great. Wonder what town it is?

[Suddenly, a Magnezone swoops down to attack them. They scream and dodge, causing the Pokemon to bounce off the trees, knocking them over, before flying away.]

Ash Ketchum

Man, that was a shock.

Dawn

Yeah. What was that?

Brock

That was a Magnezone!

Ash Ketchum

A Magnezone?

[Ash checks the Pokemon on his Pokedex.]

Pokédex

Magnezone. The Magnet Area Pokémon. It evolves from Magneton in certain magnetic areas and emits energy from each of its three magnets.

Dawn

Hey, guys, it looks like Magnezone's heading toward that town!

Brock

That's a recipe for disaster!

Ash Ketchum

Let's go!

Ash's Pikachu

Pika!

Narrator

As their trek toward Daybreak Town and Dawn's next Pokémon contest continues, a close encounter with a Magnezone in the forest has our heroes scurrying.

[The opening theme and title card plays.]

[Meanwhile, a Feraligatr is stunned on the ground. The boy starts crying.]

Boy 1

Feraligatr, no! Please wake up! Please wake up!

Ash Ketchum

Hey, what happened?

Boy 1

See, this Magnezone just came out of nowhere and knocked out my Feraligatr!

Dawn

(Angrily) Bet it's the same one!

Dawn's Piplup

Piplup!

[Brock looks closely at the Pokemon and brings out an Oran Berry from his bag, giving it to the boy.]

Brock

It's not hurt badly. Once it wakes up, feed it this Oran berry, and take it to a Pokémon Center. It'll be fine.

[The boy takes the berry.]

Brock

You can do it.

Boy 1

Wow, thank you!

[The heroes run across the town, encountering a fainted Snorlax and Bayleef with trainers checking on them.]

Ash Ketchum

Them, too?

Girl 1

Snorlax, you've got to get better please.

Boy 2

Bayleef? Bayleef, wake up!

Ash Ketchum

Were you attacked by a Magnezone, too?

Girl 1

That's right! Magnezone just swooped in and took my Snorlax down!

[Brock offers an Oran Berry to both trainers.]

Brock

Here. Have it eat this. One for Bayleef, too.

[Officer Jenny runs across the road behind them. Ash and Dawn turn around.]

Ash Ketchum

Hey, it's Officer Jenny.

Brock

(Gets up) Officer Jenny's here?

Dawn

Let's talk to her!

Brock

Yeah!

[Ash & friends chase after Officer Jenny.]

Ash Ketchum

Officer Jenny, wait up, please!

Dawn

What's going on here?

[They all stop.]

Officer Jenny

Who are you?

Ash Ketchum

I'm Ash!

Dawn

I'm Dawn!

[Brock is instantly infatuated.]

Brock

And I'm Brock! Your eyes...gorgeous...like limpid pools of water from a babbling brook! Let me draw closer so I can have a good look! Because when it comes to the beauty of Officer Jenny, I always get good and shook!

[Croagunk stabs him, causing him to scream and fall.]

Brock

Shake me, break me!

[Croagunk drags him across the ground.]

Ash Ketchum

Uh. Officer Jenny, what in the world is going on here?

Officer Jenny

Well, you see, a Magnezone suddenly appeared in town, attacking Pokémon left and right for no reason.

Dawn

It did the exact same thing to us as well!

[The Magnezone approaches again.]

Ash Ketchum

Officer Jenny, look out!

[It swoops past the group and dents the traffic lights.]

Ash Ketchum

It's trying to wreck everything!

[Officer Jenny runs after the Pokemon.]

Officer Jenny

All right, hold it right there!

Ash Ketchum

Come on!

[Ash and Dawn go.]

Brock

Right!

Ash Ketchum

Jenny, who's Magnezone's trainer, do you know?

Officer Jenny

No one! Magnezone's a wild Pokémon!

[Unable to catch up, they stop.]

Ash Ketchum

Hey, did we lose it?

Ash's Pikachu

Pika-Pika.

Dawn

It's got to be around here somewhere.

[An explosion sounds. They look ahead.]

Ash Ketchum

Huh? Is that it?

[A Metagross approaches and attacks.]

Dawn

No way!

Brock

Yeah, that's a Metagross!

Ash Ketchum

Here it comes!

Brock

Look out!

[The heroes dodge Metagross' charging attack, causing it to bang into the wall.]

Ash Ketchum

Now we've got to deal with a Metagross!

Dawn

Metagross, let's see...

[Dawn scans the Pokemon.]

Pokédex

Metagross. The Iron Leg Pokémon, and the evolved form of Metang. Metagross has four legs and uses many powerful moves.

Officer Jenny

It was hard enough having to deal with Magnezone. What's going on here?!

[The two rampant Pokemon attack each other. After straining, they both bounce off and crash into buildings. Magnezone glows its magnets and throws a crescent onto its target.]

Brock

That's Sonic Boom!

[Metagross hits back with Metal Claw.]

Brock

Wow, and that's Metal Claw!

[Metagross throws Magnezone into another building.]

Dawn

Both of them are terrifying!

Officer Jenny

This town will be destroyed if they keep it up.

Ash Ketchum

Then we've got to stop them. Monferno, let's go!

Ash's Monferno

Monferno!

[Magnezone threatens an attack.]

Dawn

Ash, stay safe! Be careful!

Ash's Pikachu

Pika-pika!

Ash Ketchum

Sure, just leave it to me! Now, Monferno! Use Flamethrower!

[Monferno hits Magnezone with the move, crashing it to the ground.]

Ash Ketchum

All right! It's working!

[Metagross and Magnezone hit Monferno back.]

Ash Ketchum

Monferno, no!

[Metagross charges again.]

Ash Ketchum

Quick, Mach Punch!

[As Monferno prepares his move, Metagross glows its legs and spins into him, knocking him down.]

Ash Ketchum

Are you all right, Monferno?

[Monferno gets up slowly.]

Ash's Monferno

(Frustrated) Monferno!

Dawn

We've got to do something.

Dawn's Piplup

(Determined) Piplup!

Dawn

Mamoswine, help us out!

[As Dawn deploys Mamoswine, Piplup is shocked and disappointed.]

Dawn's Mamoswine

Mamo!

[Dawn and Mamoswine wait for their moment.]

Dawn

Here it comes - Take Down!

[Magnezone and Mamoswine bounce off each other.]

Dawn

Use Hidden Power!

[Magnezone dodges and hits Mamoswine back with a Rainbow-colored beam, blasting him.]

Dawn

Mamoswine! Are you all right?

Brock

Now it's my turn! Dear Jenny, the time has finally come for you to watch me work. Happiny! You're up! Let's go!

Brock's Happiny

Happiny!

[Metagross charges toward Happiny.]

Brock

Take care of this!

[Happiny stops Metagross with its hands.]

Officer Jenny

Wow, Brock's amazing!

Ash Ketchum

Yeah, and so is Happiny!

Ash's Pikachu

(Excited) Pikachu!

Brock

Thanks, Jenny. Yes, my Happiny saved the day. (Blushes) It took care of Metagross...but in a different way. Well, I can take care of you, too, Jenny! And once you're in my arms, you'll feel taken care of like never before!

[As Brock gets distracted, Metagross spins Happiny away, screaming as she gets blasted. Happiny collides into Brock, causing him to faint and the Playhouse Pokemon to jump up and down in excitement.]

Dawn

Oh no! Not even Happiny could help!

[The two Pokemon battle again. They both take off to the sky. Cut to Team Rocket, having toast.]

Jessie

No better friend to a slice of buttered toast...

James

..Than a generous slathering of jam.

Meowth

Best friends! Joined together and ready for a trip down the hatch!

Team Rocket

Hunger itch? It's the perfect scratch!

[As Team Rocket open their mouths loudly, Metagross hits and blasts them.]

Jessie

My toast is in free flight!

Meowth

Us too, genius!

James

Hey, no fair! My hunger itch is at a fever pitch, whilst I've not had a morsel!

[Magnezone attacks them too.]

Jessie

You can't trust your best friend.

Team Rocket

We're blasting off again!

Officer Jenny

I'm sure there's never been a Magnezone or a Metagross in this town before.

Dawn

Magnezone attacked us on the mountain trail.

Brock

The mountain.

Ash Ketchum

Maybe there's something up on the mountain.

Brock

Dear Jenny! Leave everything to me. I'll sort it out if it's the last thing I do!

Dawn

That's great. So how are you going to do that?

Brock

First, we use electricity to lure them to the mountain.

Officer Jenny

Good idea! No doubt some Electric-type moves will keep Magnezone and Metagross focused where we want.

Ash Ketchum

Yeah! What do you say, buddy?

Ash's Pikachu

Pikachu.

Dawn

And we're ready, too! Pachirisu will give us a hand.

Ash Ketchum

Pikachu, Thunderbolt!

Dawn

Pachirisu, Discharge!

[The two moves are aimed at the sky. Magnezone and Metagross are lured in, hovering in a circle.]

Brock

I thought that would bring those two here.

Ash Ketchum

You're right!

Brock

So, let's stick to our plan.

Ash Ketchum

OK! Pikachu and Pachirisu, let's head towards the mountain!

Ash's Pikachu

Pika-pika!

Dawn's Pachirisu

Chipa!

[While running, Pikachu and Pachirisu continue using their Electric-type moves to lure Magnezone and Metagross along the path.]

Ash Ketchum

Good work, Pikachu!

Dawn

Keep it up, Pachirisu!

Ash Ketchum

Awesome! Just a little further!

[An explosion is caused in-front of them, causing them to yelp and groan.]

Ash Ketchum

What was that?

[Team Rocket cackle and arrive in their balloon.]

Jessie

What was, is now, and ever shall be!

James

For you, that means trouble, just you wait and see!

Jessie

On the wind.

James

Past the stars.

Meowth

Whoop-dee-dee!

Jessie

Bringing chaos at a breakneck pace!

James

Dashing hope, putting fear in its place!

Jessie

A rose by any other name's just as sweet!

James

When everything's worse, our work is complete.

Jessie

Jessie.

James

And it's James.

Meowth

Meowth, that's a name!

Jessie

Putting the do-gooders in their place!

James

We're Team Rocket...

Team Rocket

..And we're in your face!

Ash Ketchum

Team Rocket?!

Dawn

With evil plans, no doubt!

Jessie

Wrong!

Meowth

We got wronged, and we're ticked!

James

That Electric and Steel stinker stole away our toast and jam! (Breaks down crying)

Jessie

(Points two fingers) And twice we were tinkered with! Twice! One time, shame on you, but twice, shame on us!

Meowth

Word up! So it's time for a little Magnezone and Metagross payback!

Brock

(Realizes) I know! Meowth could talk to them and ask them why they're both so upset.

[Everyone else is shocked.]

Meowth

Mug to mug?

Jessie

Are you saying there's a pattern at work here?

Ash Ketchum

Yeah. Both of them are making a mess in town.

Jessie

Time out. Say we get to the bottom of this mess. Then, if we apply a little diplomacy, we could end up with twin titans for Team Rocket.

James

Wow!

Meowth

Wow! Sound logic.

James

And it came from you! "Twin Titans" has a nice ring!

Meowth

It's a deal, twerps! I'll go have a powwow with those two punks and shake them down!

[Team Rocket fly up in their balloon, with Metagross and Magnezone watching them.]

Brock

Of course, can we trust them?

[Meowth talks to the two Pokemon.]

Meowth

Yoohoo! I was hoping I could pick your brains and ask why you're on the warpath, dig? See, I've got a little bet with my buddies in the balloon here.

[Both Magnezone and Metagross become annoyed, giving Meowth a sweatdrop.]

Meowth

Stop with the metal mumbling and make sense!

[The two Pokemon continue communicating.]

Ash Ketchum

Hey! What're they saying?

Jessie

It would help if you cleared the air.

Meowth

I couldn't cop a crumb of that mumbo-jumbo!

Jessie

Wha? Mumbo-jumbo?

Meowth

They're mad, all right. But it's gobbledygook!

Brock

Even Meowth can't help!

[Magnezone and Metagross attack and blast off the balloon. Team Rocket yelp.]

Team Rocket

Rejected by rabble-rousers!

Brock

Well, that's that. So, let's finish taking them to the mountain. At least the town will be safe.

Ash Ketchum

Got it! Pikachu, ready?

Ash's Pikachu

Pikachu.

[Pikachu and Pachirisu run together while using their Electric-type moves, while the two Steel-type Pokemon continue following. Team Rocket are behind the bushed.]

Jessie

Heads up. Soon as we figure out their problem, we'll go therapeutic on them, then take the twins for our trouble.

Meowth and James

Check!

[Crispin appears, suddenly noticing the two Steel-types.]

Crispin

Magnezone and Metagross! There you two are!

[The heroes stop.]

Ash Ketchum

Hi. We're trying to figure out what's with this Magnezone and Metagross.

Officer Jenny

Who are you?

Crispin

Pleased to meet you! My name's Crispin. my job is to patrol this mountain. I'm at your service.

[They stand beside a large basin full of water.]

Crispin

The basin is full now, but this is the exception, since it's usually quite empty. Magnezone and Metagross used to battle quite a bit here. they would hurl themselves at each other like wrestlers.

Brock

That sounds intense!

Crispin

It is. This mountain is full of locations that occasionally give off strange magnetic energy. That energy gets trapped in their bodies, and then it all needs to be released. So they battle each other as a way of doing just that.

Ash Ketchum

Wow!

Crispin

However, as soon as the basin filled up with water a few days ago, the two of them simply disappeared. The thing is, I worry, if they fly into town with all that trapped energy, they could very well cause trouble, so I went looking.

Officer Jenny

I'm afraid it's already been happening.

Crispin

Huh?

Dawn

It seems to me the trick is for someone to drain this basin.

Crispin

Yeah. They could battle here and not have to go anywhere else.

[Team Rocket appear, carrying a large water tank.]

Jessie

While twerps tarry, we save the day!

James

So a-draining we will go! Although not mandatory, one hopes they'll show their thanks by joining our team.

Meowth

First, we've got a job to do! Whatever reason that pool is pooling, we'll clean up the drink, and we ain't fooling!

Brock

There must be an explanation why the basin's so full. I suggest, before we do anything, we figure that out first.

Jessie

Let go! I can't breathe!

Ash Ketchum

Pikachu and Pachirisu, do you think you could keep those two hanging around a little while longer, please?

Ash's Pikachu

Pika-pika!

Dawn's Pachirisu

Chipa!

[Pikachu and Piplup continue using their Electric-type moves to lure in Magnezone and Metagross.]

Crispin

I know there have been some major rainstorms this past week, but they couldn't have caused all this.

Ash Ketchum

Then that means water must be coming in from somewhere else.

Crispin

Right.

[Piplup leads the way, noticing a stream up ahead. It calls the others.]

Dawn's Piplup

(Insistent) Piplup-Piplup-Piplup!

Dawn

A stream!

Brock

Let's follow it.

Ash Ketchum

Yeah!

[Farther ahead, they notice a boulder blocking the stream, diverting the water toward a smaller stream.]

Brock

There's your reason. That boulder's blocking the river's water flow.

Dawn

Which means the overflow's flooding out the basin.

Crispin

We've got to move that boulder, quick!

Jessie

Out of the way, nudniks!

Everyone

Huh?

[Team Rocket descend their balloon to meet them.]

Jessie

Move your sorry selves, and let the experts handle your toughest water problems.

[Underneath the balloon, the grabbers grab hold of the boulder.]

Meowth

Time for rock liftoff!

[Rockets open out from the side of the balloon and activate, however, the boulder is too heavy, causing them to start panicking.]

James

Danger! Too much heft!

Jessie

Well, show them what's left!

[The grabbers lose grip. Team Rocket are sent flying uncontrollably into the stream, crashing.]

Brock

Dear Jenny.

Officer Jenny

Huh?

Brock

(Starry faced) I beg you, please leave this to me.

Officer Jenny

Uh, well...

Brock

Croagunk, come out! We need you!

Brock's Croagunk

Croa.

Brock

All right. Use Brick Break on that rock!

Brock's Croagunk

Croa-oa!

[Croagunk shatters the rock with the move. The stream gushes Team Rocket away, causing them to scream. Everyone else exclaims in delight.]

Officer Jenny

Amazing!

Brock

Of course. That's what happens when you leave it to me.

Officer Jenny

Croagunk, you were great!

[As Croagunk and Officer Jenny share a handshake, Brock falls down.]

Ash Ketchum

All right! So that takes care of that river flow.

[They return to the basin.]

Dawn

Now for the water.

[Team Rocket return with the tank.]

Jessie

Which means now for Team Rocket!

James

It hardly seems right to have a primed pump without a gig!

Meowth

Check this rig!

[Meowth connects the tube down to the basin.]

Meowth

We've got contact!

[James pulls the lever.]

James

Juice!

[The tank starts sucking up the water.]

Ash Ketchum

That motor sounds like this is going to take a while.

Dawn

Maybe we could dig a tunnel underneath the basin. Then the water would drain right out.

Brock

Of course! Why not freeze the water instead?

Ash Ketchum

Freeze it?

Dawn

How would that work?

Brock

Well, then we can just toss it. Hey, Dawn, do you think Buneary can handle this?

Dawn

You've got it! Buneary, go!

Dawn's Buneary

Bune!

Dawn

All right, Buneary, Ice Beam!

[Buneary aims at the basin, freezing the water...]

Officer Jenny

Wow! Excellent!

[..and freezing the tank and Team Rocket.]

Brock

Happiny, now! You're up next!

Brock's Happiny

Happiny! Hap, hap, hap...

[Happiny walks down the frozen water and starts lifting it up.]

Brock's Happiny

Ha...ppiny-y-y-y! Happiny!

[Everyone else exclaims in amazement.]

Dawn

Wow! Happiny, way to go!

[Happiny lifts up the entire basin 90 degrees.]

Jessie

I'm getting ice-sick!

Brock

Great work, Happiny! Now toss it into the valley!

[Happiny walks to the valley's side carrying the basin.]

Jessie

You can't just throw us away like a used swizzle stick!

James

Recycle utensils!

Meowth

Don't be mean, think green!

[Happiny throws the frozen water toward the valley. Team Rocket scream and the frozen water hits the ground, causing a loud crash that shakes the ground. The heroes head toward Pikachu and Pachirisu still using their Electric-type moves.]

Ash Ketchum

Pikachu, Pachirisu! That's enough! Thanks, you two!

[They both stop, catching their breath in exhaustion. They open their eyes again.]

Dawn

Great job! You were awesome!

Ash Ketchum

You gave it your all!

Ash's Pikachu

Pika!

Dawn's Pachirisu

Chipa!

Ash Ketchum

(Calling) Hey, Magnezone, Metagross, you can battle as much as you like now, so don't worry!

[Metagross and Magnezone thank their heroes and enter the empty basin, battling each other.]

Ash Ketchum

Wow, check out that power!

Dawn

Yeah, they're something!

Officer Jenny

As long as they're battling here, they can do whatever they like.

[While the heroes watch, Magnezone and Metagross continue battling. Soon, Team Rocket re-appear in their balloon.]

Jessie

Look, Meowth, you know what to do. Talk them into joining!

Meowth

Right! It's a gift! (To Magnezone and Metagross) Excuse me, how about taking a pause for the cause and hearing me out? I know the evidence. I know the way it looks It appears those twerps fixed everything that was going wrong for you, but truth be told, it was us. We gave them twerpies the wisdom and courage to step up to the old plate. And since it was Team Rocket solving all of your problemos and making it a bright sunshiny day, I think it's only fitting that you should join Team Rocket.

Jessie

Excellent! Do you think they're in?

James

I hope you crossed your T's and dotted your I's.

Meowth

Good! They bought the jive! The dream's alive!

[Metagross and Magnezone charge, attack and destroy the balloon, blasting Team Rocket off.]

James

Drat! And on top of it all, I still haven't enjoyed one taste of my toast and jam!

Jessie

You and your stomach. (Big-head, angrily) You're a pathetic pair!

Meowth

I thought I was so slick! And what do we we get?

Jessie

We're blasting off again!

Officer Jenny

Finally. It looks like everything's back to normal. I think I'll head back into town now, calm everybody down. (Salutes)

Crispin

(Salutes) Thank you for a great job.

[Magnezone and Metagross continue battling.]

Ash Ketchum

Man. I just can't wait a second longer. Gible, I choose you!

[Gible, after being deployed, bites a rock.]

Ash Ketchum

Aww, not again. Hey! Knock it off! Gible, Draco Meteor, let's go!

[Gible shoots a meteor up in the sky. It pops and falls toward Piplup. Piplup panics as the meteor hits him. Piplup falls and rolls down to the bottom of the basin, confounded, and then scratches his head. The Magnezone and Metagross encroach Piplup, threatening him, forcing him to run in panic and them to go after him. Cut to Gible, biting Ash, and Dawn, worried about her Piplup.]

Dawn

Piplup, be careful, okay?

Ash Ketchum

This is getting kind of old! Gible, stop!

[Gible refuses and keeps biting. Piplup continues running in panic while chased by the other two Pokemon.]

Narrator

And so, thanks to our heroes, Magnezone and Metagross are back home, and happily battling; and yes, Daybreak Town and Dawn's next contest are closer than ever, so stay tuned.

[The caption "To Be Continued" shows at the bottom of the screen. The credits appear.]
