  • Pokémon senryū: ドダイトス　こうらはみどりの　どだいです Dodaitosu, kōra wa midori no, dodai desu.
• Aim to Be a Pokémon Master 2001, an instrumental version of By Your Side ~Hikari's Theme~ and of Advance Adventure, and Pokémon Symphonic Medley is used as background music.
• This is the second clip episode in the series' history, the first being "Satoshi and Haruka! Heated Battles in Hoenn!!". Like the aforementioned episode, it was skipped internationally.
  • This is the second episode since then that Jessie, James, and Meowth do not appear in.

Mistakes

• Turtwig was shown having its energy drained by Leech Seed, however, Grass-type Pokémon cannot be affected by it.
