Creatures Inc. (株式会社クリーチャーズ, Kabushiki Gaisha Kuriichaazu?) is a video game company affiliated with The Pokémon Company and Nintendo. Founded March 1989 as Ape Inc., it was originally tasked with the Earthbound series, the company was split in 1995, with former Ape. Inc. staff being under a new company called Creatures Inc., whilst Ape. Inc. became a company managing the intellectual property of the Earthbound series.
In partnership with Game Freak and Nintendo, Creatures co-owns The Pokémon Company. The company is renowned for its development of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the creation of Pokémon toys. Creatures also manages the Pokémon CG Studio, which specializes in 3D modeling and animation of Pokémon models for all Pokémon games. Additionally, Creatures has developed various Pokémon spin-off games as well as several non-Pokémon titles.
