The Creation Trio consists of Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. They are a group of Legendary Pokémon that appear in the Sinnoh region. They were some of the first known Pokémon created by Arceus.

Ghost/Dragon | Pressure | Giratina is the Ghost/Dragon-type member of the trio. It is said that this Pokémon represents antimatter. Giratina can only be in its Origin Forme when in its home, the Distortion World, or when holding a Griseous Orb. Giratina is able to travel through and control dimensions besides those of time and space. When in its Origin Forme, it is able to pass through dimensions at will, however, it will turn back to its Altered Forme due to the gravity change from the Distortion World. Its signature move is Shadow Force. |

Trivia
- All three of them have an a at the end of their names.
- Giratina is the only member that has multiple forms.
- They are all secondary Dragon type, similar to the following Tao Trio, which all have Dragon as their primary type. Dragon type may be a reference to their enormous power and ancient age, as well as a mechanical explanation of their natural might besides their designs.
- Palkia is the only member who didn't have a unique type combination in the generation it was introduced.
- It is the only Legendary group, which has been featured in 3 movies in a row, actually related to each other making Movies 10, 11 and 12 a trilogy. Also they have the most appearances in movies, not mentioning cameos - 4 (though Giratina appeared in 3 movies).
- This group represents the 3 states of matter. Dialga represents solid, Palkia represents liquid and Giratina represents gas.
