This Magnemite is one of Clemont's Pokémon who is living in the Lumiose City Gym. It is an Electric/Steel-type Pokémon.
Biography[]
Magnemite is Clemont's Pokémon who served as a patrol to the Gym while Clembot was in control of it. After Clemont greeted it upon his return, it pretended to be happy but then attacked him with Thunder Shock. It continued attacking until Froakie's Frubbles put a stop to it.[1]
When Clemont returned to his gym, Clemont used Magnemite to train for his upcoming gym battle against Ash.[2]
After the gym battle, Clemont gave Magnemite back to Clembot so he can continue his journey with Ash.[3]
Magnemite was later used as Clembot's first Pokémon in a gym battle against Alvin. It went up against Vivillon and started with Electro Ball. However, Magnemite got stunned by Vivillon's Flash-Quiver Dance combo. As it was being put to sleep with Sleep Powder, it was eventually defeated by Vivillon's Energy Ball.[4]
