This category contains the unique Legendary Pokémon, extremely powerful Pokémon of whom there is only one in any particular game. For example, Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow has the Legendary Birds: Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno; Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal introduced the Legendary Beasts: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. There is a total of 65 Legendary Pokémon in every region so far.
