Biography[]
Rattata tackles James and frees Chikorita and Pikachu.
The heroes were watching Casey, who sent Chikorita to battle Rattata. Chikorita used Tackle, but missed. However, Chikorita repeated the attack and hit Rattata, allowing Casey to catch it with her Poké Ball. During the battle with Ash, Casey sent Rattata out to battle Ash's Charizard. Rattata tried tackling Ash's Charizard, but bumped into it and fell down defeated. Later on, Casey sent Rattata and Pidgey to battle Team Rocket, who were launching baseballs. Rattata used Tackle, causing some of the balls to be hit back at Team Rocket. After Rattata tackled James, Pidgey's Quick Attack made him fall down, freeing Casey's Chikorita and Ash's Pikachu.[1]
Finding a lone Chikorita, Ash recalled Casey, whose Chikorita battled a Rattata she eventually caught.[2]
