The Cargo Ship is a location in Almia. It was Team Dim Sun's main transport for captured Pokémon.

A ship that was originally built for transporting ordinary cargo. It was pressing into service by Team Dim Sun in an attempt to spirit away large numbers of Pokémon from Boyleland. - Map Description

Overview[]

The Player discovers the ship docked in a hidden harbor inside Volcano cave while searching for a missing Barlow and they manage to infiltrate the ship just before it heads out to sea. The Player travels through the ship and frees the Pokémon kidnapped from Boyleland, including the village elder's Mime Jr. They continue the search until the find a bound Barlow and free him. With the power of Barlow's human target clear, the two Rangers continue forward and discover a strange room filled with familiar objects. They continue on until the reach the upper deck where they meet Kincaid, who reveals himself to be a Team Dim Sun admin. Kincaid manages to defeat Barlow with a Drapion, but the Player manages to capture it. Defeated, Kincaid flees on a Gliscor, but not before ordering the TDS goons to remove the ship's Kingston Valve, a giant plug on the bottom deck. Without the valve, the ship begins to take on water and Barlow orders the Player to plug the valve back while he takes control the ship and tries to find land before the ship sinks. The Player manages to force the valve back in and Barlow crash lands the ship at the small port at the Ranger School. Afterward, the ships remains where it was landed and can be explored again, though early areas are no longer accessible.
