This Shuckle is a Bug/Rock-type Pokémon owned by Butch.
Biography[]
In the Sinnoh region, Butch and Cassidy argued with James and Jessie on capturing Hippowdon, so the two sides sent their Pokémon to battle. Butch's Shuckle was struck by James' Carnivine's Bullet Seed, so it fired a Sludge Bomb, but it struck Hippowdon instead. Ash had Pikachu use Thunderbolt, electrocuting Shuckle. Hippowdon used Take Down to strike Team Rocket, and was helped by its child, Hippopotas, who used Yawn to put them to sleep. Team Rocket was then blasted away with Sandstorm.[1]
