This Blissey is a Normal-type Pokémon that Brock received as an Happiny egg after winning a contest. She is the second Pokémon Brock acquired during his Sinnoh journey.
Biography[]
Brock won Chansey while she was an egg in a contest in All Dressed Up With Somewhere To Go!.
The egg hatched revealing the Pokémon to be a Happiny at one of the Pokémon Centers. As a Happiny, she possessed enormous strength, using that strength to throw Brock into the air when she hatched. Later in the series, Happiny lifted an enormous boulder with one hand and also lifted Ash's Grotle and carried it around Canalave City when it got tired.
While on the boat to Twinleaf Town, Brock's Happiny evolved into Chansey while trying to help a sick Pichu. It is currently unknown if Chansey has kept the strength she had as a Happiny but she knows the move Soft-Boiled which she used to heal Pichu on the boat.
After returning home from Sinnoh he left Chansey at Pewter Gym.
Chansey alongside Brock's Croagunk return in Pokemon Journeys: The Series who is now evolved into a Blissey.
In the special episodes of Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles, Brock's Chansey who was now evolved into a Blissey along with Croagunk when Brock was working as a Pokémon Doctor at Sinnoh while his Trainer reunite with Ash and Dawn and met Goh. Later, Blissey teams up with Croagunk and Steelix to stop Team Galactic while Ash, Goh and Dawn try to stop a rampage Heatran that's heading to the Spear Pillar. Until, Cynthia and her Garchomp arrives as Brock tell these to stay to protect Cynthia as she'll give them command, and to team up with Cynthia's Roserade against the remaining members of Team Galactic.
