This Rayquaza is a Dragon/-type Pokémon owned by Brendan. It has the ability to evolve into its Mega form.
Biography[]
Brendan's Rayquaza first appeared in the 9th episode of the special series, Pokémon Generations, being shown in an recorded replay using Dragon Ascent to destroy an meteor about to reach earth's atmosphere. Brendan was riding it in its space suit.
When Rayquaza reappeared, it was shown that there were an attack form Deoxys inside the meteor, which Brendan instantly ordered Mega Rayquaza to engage. Mega Rayquaza shot an Hyper Beam, which Deoxys countered by building a shield out of the meteor's rubble. After dodging speed Deoxys's advances and dropping Brendan by the satellite, Mega Rayquaza re-engaged, avoiding three Psycho Boosts shot in a row and fired another Hyper Beam, which was also easily dodged. After trading series of Psycho Boosts and Hyper Beams with Deoxys for a few seconds, Mega Rayquaza score a glancing hit, opening a hole in attack form Deoxys's side. After diving for Deoxys in an Dragon Ascent, overpowering an Psycho Boost in the way, Mega Rayquaza collided head first with defense form Deoxys's Protect, eventually shattering it and scoring a direct hit. Badly damaged, Deoxys was low on health enough to be captured by Brendan.
Personality[]
Very few is know about Brendan's Rayquaza's personality. What is know is that it's very obedient to Brendan, understanding a light pet on the head as an clear command to engage. Due to lack of communication in spacial environment, Mega Rayquaza fought most of the time on its own, proving to be a very skilled fighter, defeating an Deoxys with no more than two different moves.
