Blastoise was the leader of their squad, who live on a shell-shaped Island. He fell into a deep slumber once, due to Jigglypuff getting stuck on one of its cannons.
After waking up, he stopped Team Rocket from capturing the other Squirtle and Wartortle and sent them blasting off.
